The Pivot Podcast Joins Fanatics

Fanatics is getting into podcast sponsorships, a first for the company as it continues to expand its business in new directions. The company is becoming the primary partner of The Pivot Podcast, an interview show hosted by former NFL players Fred Taylor, Ryan Clark, and Channing Crowder. Under the multiyear agreement, various Fanatics brands will be featured on the podcast, and the show will have access to Fanatics’ events (such as CEO Michael Rubin’s Super Bowl party) and its network of athletes. Acquired Podcast Hits #1 on the Charts

Acquired, a business podcast that delves into the histories of great companies like Microsoft, Costco, and Nike, has reached the top spot on the charts. The show's recent spike in traffic is mainly due to an excellent profile in the Wall Street Journal. Read the WSJ article.

Sony Music Acquires Podcast Company Neon Hum Media

Sony Music’s Global Podcast Division has acquired podcast production company Neon Hum, known for series like "Dinner’s On Me" and the true-crime franchise "Smoke Screen." Jonathan Hirsch, founder of Neon Hum, will become VP, Global Podcasts and Head of U.S. Creative at Sony Music’s Global Podcast Division. Official press release.

Night Acquires The Roost

Talent management firm Night, known for representing big names like MrBeast, has acquired The Roost, a podcast network formerly part of Warner Bros. Discovery’s Rooster Teeth brand. The Roost is home to 47 original shows, including the H3 Podcast and This Past Weekend with Theo Von. The network's podcasts generate 350 million views and 20 million monthly audio downloads.
